Sasamat lake
Yesterday we went out with Kathrin (a frisbee playing friend from Munich with a connection to Vancouver) to Sasamat lake for a small hike. Actually it wasn’t so far, and a very leasurly pace, but a nice walk all the same. The lake looks like it’s a popular family escape from the city in the summer: canoe rental for the kids, a fishing pier for the dads, and a beach with kiosk for the mums. Besides that though, there are quite a few trails in the woods around the lake, and on south to the Woodhaven swamp.
We found a few caches on the way too! Have a look at the gallery for some nice pictures!
